Right of Withdrawal
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the last item in your order, without providing any reason.

Return Shipping
Under Article 14(1) of Directive 2011/83/EU, customers are responsible for the direct cost of return shipping. A prepaid label will be provided through our withdrawal portal; the label cost will be deducted from your refund.

If you purchased withdrawal coverage at checkout, your return shipping is fully covered at no additional cost when you exercise your right of withdrawal.

Refund Timing & Method
We will issue your refund within 14 days of receiving notification of your cancellation. However, for sales of goods, we reserve the right to withhold the reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is earliest.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method only, including standard outbound shipping costs. We do not issue refunds via store credit, check, or alternative payment methods unless required by law.

Condition of Returned Items & Installed Parts
To receive a full refund, items should be returned in their original packaging and must be in resalable condition. Under EU law, you are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the items.

Installed or Modified Parts: Parts that have been mounted, installed, modified, or show signs of road wear go beyond basic inspection. Because these items can no longer be resold as new, their diminished value may equal up to 100% of the purchase price, rendering them ineligible for a full refund.
Fitment: For standard stocked items, you may exercise your right of withdrawal even if you made an error regarding vehicle compatibility, provided the item is returned uninstalled and undamaged.

Exemptions & Built-to-Order Items
The right of withdrawal does not apply to items made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized, as set forth in Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU. This includes built-to-order items such as our custom-fabricated bumpers and rock sliders.

Built-to-Order Cancellation Window: Built-to-order items cannot be canceled or modified more than 48 hours after purchase. Once this 48-hour window has passed, these items enter our fabrication queue, production costs are incurred, and they become non-refundable and non-returnable.

Cancellations & Order Modifications
You may cancel standard stock orders at any time before they have been fulfilled without penalty. To cancel, visit your customer account at https://account.overlandtrek.com or use the link in your SMS order confirmation. If your order has already been fulfilled, our standard statutory return process applies.

Defective or Damaged Items
For items that arrive damaged during transit or exhibit manufacturing defects, you are fully protected by EU statutory legal guarantees. Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately so we can promptly arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you, including return shipping.
